Scope
The 2008 International Forum on Statistics will be held June 21-22 at Renmin University of China in Beijing. The forum will bring together top researchers from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, America, Japan and around the world to exchange research results and address open issues in all aspects of statistics. The forum is also in memory of 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Professor Dai Shiguang, who has dedicated his life to statistics and statistical education.
The 2008 International Forum on Statistics encourages authors to submit papers to one of the main topics indicated below, describing original work, including methods, techniques, applications or survey papers, reporting research results and/or indicating future directions. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference by one of the authors and published in the proceedings. A selection of the best conference papers will be recommended to academic publications such as Statistical Research.

Paper submission & publication
Authors can email their paper abstracts and full papers to Liu Chang, Liuchang@ruc.edu.cn or Liuchang56@sohu.com.
Abstract should be around 500 words either in English or Chinese. Papers are acquired to be written in English or Chinese, length unlimited. Authors can submit more than one conference paper, but the papers presented at the conference will be limited. The conference languages are English and Chinese, though speakers are encouraged to use Chinese.
All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, abstracts in paper support and full papers in CD-ROM support. A selection of the best conference papers will be recommended to academic publications such as Statistical Research.
