Abstract: This talk outlines a Bayesian framework for demographic estimation and forecasting for small areas disaggregated by social, demographic, and geographic variables. We give reasons why Bayesian methods are particularly appropriate for disaggregated demographic estimation and forecasting problems. We illustrate our approach with some examples.
个人介绍：张俊妮为北京大学光华管理学院商务统计与经济计量系副教授，获美国哈佛大学统计学博士学位，任北京大学商务智能研究中心副主任、北京大学光华管理学院责任与社会价值中心副主任。主要研究领域为贝叶斯分析、人口统计学、文本挖掘。
