Graph Analysis from the Perspective of Real-World Graph Properties
Graph is a ubiquitous data representation that is used to model complex relations in a wide variety of applications, such as social networks, geographic information, molecular biology, and financial networks. The massive scale of real-world graphs poses great challenges for graph analysis, which has become a hot topic to both academia and industry. In this talk, I will focus on graph analysis from the perspective of real-world graph properties. Specifically, I will review several classic graph problems, including SimRank similarity computation, maximum independent set, and reachability queries. Besides, I will give a brief introduction to temporal graph convolutional network and its applications.
个人简介
刘钰,北京大学王选计算机研究所全职博士后,2018年于中国人民大学信息学院获得工学博士学位(计算机应用技术),主要研究方向为大规模图算法的分析优化、复杂图生成模型和算法、时序图神经网络模型等。目前已在VLDB、 SIGMOD、WISE等数据库领域国际重要会议发表论文5篇。主持北大医信交叉种子基金一项,参与国家自然科学重点基金一项(“大规模图的复杂性分析与高效计算”)。担任数据库领域国际顶级期刊TKDE和会议VLDB2021审稿人。
主持人简介
吕晓玲,中国人民大学统计学院教授,博士生导师;中国人民大学数据挖掘中心主任。本科与硕士毕业于南开大学数学系概率统计专业,博士毕业于香港城市大学管理科学系。曾经是奥地利约翰开普勒大学应用统计系以及美国加州大学伯克利分校统计系访问学者。一直从事统计机器学习、数据科学领域的研究。主持教育部人文社会科学研究项目以及中国国家自然科学基金项目。学术论文在Journal of American Statistical Association, The Canadian Journal of Statistics、Statistics and Probability Letters、Knowledge-Based Systems、Statistics and Its Interface、Journal of Electronic Commerce Research、Public Personnel Management、Journal of Advertising Research等SSCI/SCI检索的国际学术期刊发表。
