四、课程介绍
（一）先修课程
Calculus , linear algebra, fundamental probability, linear model and regression.
（二）课程目标
The aim of this course is to provide some foundation for statistical machine learning, as well as to introduce some fundamental methods including some modern models/algorithms and their theoretical basis. Illustrations of the methods in some applications will be discussed.
