On January 4, the textbook writing workshop for Biostatistics under the Ministry of Education's "101 Plan" for Basic Statistical Sciences was successfully held at Renmin University of China. Experts and scholars from Peking University, Renmin University of China, Nankai University, Northeast Normal University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Nanjing Medical University, China Pharmaceutical University, Zhejiang University, University of Science and Technology of China, Shandong University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Southern Medical University, and Army Medical University gathered to engage in in-depth discussions on the textbook’s positioning, chapter structure, writing approach, case studies, and data sources. Consensus was reached on key aspects, laying a solid foundation for subsequent textbook development work.
